This is a song from a TrueBlood episode called “9 Crimes”. It’s “Paradise Circus” by Massive Attack. I liked the lyrics so much I put them here for you along with a video. (Unfortunately, I can’t show you the official video.) There’s been a bit of a discussion about the meaning of this song. What do think the lyrics mean to you?

Ah Ha, I thought I recognized her voice, partway through the song I thought, that sounds like Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, and I just looked it up and it is. I used to love Mazzy Star back in the day. I don't know if you've ever listened to them or not, but their album "So Tonight That I Might See" is so good, and "Fade Into You" is such a great song, check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWvEXChflEE. This new Massive Attack song is great, I've always loved Hope's haunting voice. I got so caught up in it, it brought me back to the 90s.
