We Were On A Break

So just like Ross from Friends is famous for saying, “We were on a break!” And finally, after an entire year of pondering a new direction and working on a new YA novel, I am back. The hiatus is over.

A year is a long time to be away from a blog I’ve had for 7 years this coming November. I even contemplated shutting it down and folding up shop completely. Then I came to my senses and realized I missed my little blog. I’ve put a lot of work into it over the years (75 pages worth of posts!) and I’m not ready to give it up just yet.

However, there are going to be a few changes on the site, as we are ever evolving so must the blog. There will still be movie reviews and reviews of my favorite TV shows, music and some humor, but I’ve also decided to include some free short stories, thoughts and tips on writing and snapshots from my adventures in writing. Some sneak peeks into my current #WIP and some projects that are #comingsoon. And some of the characters from my real life — and some from the fantasy worlds I spin daily — are sure to make an appearance here on The Scribe’s Desk from time to time.

And now because I’m feeling a little nostalgic, and for all the Friends fans out there, I thought I’d include this blast from the past — for old times’ sake.

So I hope you’ll visit and get reacquainted with the humble scribblings on my little space on the web and be entertained. My friends and I will be expecting you. :)
