July 16th, 2017 can’t get here soon enough! After watching this epic Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer are you or are you not excited? Are you #TeamJonSnow, #TeamDaenerys (or #TeamKhaleesi), or are you #TeamCersei (YIKES!)?

All I gotta say is those dragons better not die! Unfortunately, knowing George R.R. Martin, no one is safe so I may be disappointed on the dragon conservation front.

Did you notice Cersei standing on the giant map of Westeros? It is reminiscent of a scene in Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

We all know how George R.R. Martin likes to blend real historical events into his marvelous work of fantasy. I really like the way HBO gave a nod to the 2007 film about one of my favorite historical figures, Elizabeth I. Though I have to admit I can’t decide who would win this battle of cinematography.

So the Great War is finally here…7.16. Put it on your calendars folks!
